Personality: He has a violent nature, as he gets excited over the idea of burning people to ash. On Tenrou Island, when he overheard some of the lesser-rank subordinates cautioning him on Natsu Dragneel's strength, he roasted them with his flames as he considered Grimoire Heart the superior guild, which had no need for weaklings. This shows that his personality is similar to that of Gajeel Redfox's when he was first introduced as a member of Phantom Lord, since he believes his own guild is the strongest, and would not hesitate to attack those who disagree with him on that, be it ally or enemy. However, he can be kind at times, such as when he comforts Meredy after Ultear's scolding and ask her for what she was going to tell Ultear. Despite his normally hot headed mentality, he was greatly intimidated by Makarov's fearsome titan Magic like the rest of his companions (excluding his master Hades). Besides, he has an unique laughter style saying ´´Uheeheehee´´ or ´´Uhahahah´´. He also has a weird way of walking (he does big steps with his legs wide spread).

Name Magic: Flame God Slayer

Magic: Magic is similar to Dragon Slayer Magic, but apparently is more powerful. The only known user of God-Slayer Magic is Zancrow. However, Zancrow learnt this Magic from Hades, not from an actual god. It is unknown if 'genuine' God-Slayers exist, or if 'genuine' God-Slayer Magic even exists. Nonetheless, Zancrow's flame Magic has been shown to be completely superior to Natsu's Dragon-Slayer Magic in both power and destructive ability. Furthermore, Natsu was only able to eat Zancrow's flames after nullifying all of his own Magic, while Zancrow could eat Natsu's flames with ease.
God-Slayer style which incorporates the element of fire into the user's body. This allows the user to produce black flames from any part of their body. The user is also able to consume flames of any sort to replenish his/her strength. Zancrow says that his flames, in addition to being able to burn, are "flare halberds that destroy everything," which implies that his flames have a high amount of destructive ability.



BACKGROUND

History: Zancrow was raised by Hades alongside six other Mages to learn a particular form of Ancient Spell, with Zancrow learning how to perform God Slayer Magic. One of these other Mages, Meredy, was found by Zancrow, Ultear, and Kain in a city they were destroying. Zancrow was opposed to letting Meredy join the team, stating that they had orders to exterminate all the city's residents to obtain one of the keys to resurrecting Zeref.
